Extra virgin olive oil is a go-to when you're eating to beat disease. But with so many varieties and brands, how can you know which ones are the healthiest? I try to find Spanish, Greek, and Italian olive oils. My favorite is made from the Koroneiki olive variety, which contains an amazing bioactive called hydroxytyrosol. This compound is antiangiogenic, helps protect your DNA, and boosts your immune system.
