Angelika Starzer, MD, Medical University of Vienna, Vienna, Austria, provides an overview of therapies for breast cancer with brain metastases, including data from the Phase III HER2CLIMB-02 (NCT03975647) trial suggesting a positive benefit of tucatinib in HER2-positve breast cancer, which included patients with brain metastases. Data is indicating trastuzumab deruxtecan may also provide a benefit for breast cancer with brain metastases.
