Treatment patterns and outcomes of older HL patients from the Brazilian Prospective HL Registry

Published
Irene Biasoli, MD, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, discusses the structure and findings of the Brazilian prospective Hodgkin lymphoma (HL) Registry (NCT02589548), a study that investigated the relationship between treatment patterns, outcomes and socioeconomic status (SES) in patients with HL. Dr Biasoli highlights that older patients with lower SES are more frequently affected by comorbidities, and showed a higher mortality rate, making SES a valuable prognostic factor for survival. This interview took place at the 12th International Symposium on Hodgkin Lymphoma (ISHL12), held in Cologne, Germany.
