Tiny Girl Left Like Trash In A Parking Lot

Published
This time last week a citizen witnessed this tiny girl being dumped in a parking lot in the rain.

He immediately captured her and brought her home, but quickly realized she desperately needed medical care. He posted her up on a Facebook page asking for help and Second Chance Pets immediately said yes! One of their volunteers quickly fell in love with this tiny girl and dubbed her Reign.

After Reign was evaluated at the vet, euthanasia was suggested but the foster knew she wasn't ready to give up yet and committed to being there for her while she fights for a full recovery. Sadly, Reign has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure due to heartworm disease. She has begun heartworm treatment and had over 260cc of fluid removed from her belly.

Reign is still not out of the woods and will require many months of heartworm treatment and consistent belly drains to help control the fluid collecting in her abdomen. Despite everything, she has a hearty appetite, demands pets, and enjoys snuggling in a soft blanket in a warm bed.

We aren't sure what her past was before she came to us, but we can tell you her future “reign” is going to be epic! Please consider making a donation to help us spoil this queen during her treatment. Thank you.
