Software Development and Assurance Pipeline

Tech Panel: Engineering practices for software-reliant systems have evolved steadily over many decades, with new techniques, technologies, and tools that can lead to improvements in engineering practice for software-based systems for the military and its supply chain. The notion of a software development pipeline has recently emerged to describe iterative patterns of continuous development with continuous integration and continuous verification and validation (CD/CI/CV). The panel will discuss the emerging software development pipeline model that is enabled by the automated capture and management of diverse kinds of engineering evidence, both formal and informal.
