This is one of those good old fashioned, ripping yarns: a lost world, an ancient civilisation and the Holy Grail of archaeology that's been billed as "the find of the century". It's set on a misty, mysterious Indonesian island called Flores and it began with the discovery of an amazing skeleton. The Australians who found the bones believe they're the remains of an ancient species of little people - people they've nicknamed Hobbits. And if they're right, these Hobbits will rewrite the book of human evolution. But there's an unexpected twist - bitter rivalry and skullduggery's afoot.
