Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday said that the state would convene a special assembly to pass another bill for exemption of NEET, days after Governor RN Ravi returned a similar bill, calling it “anti-poor".

The CM's announcement came after an all-party meeting on the issue, where he alleged that the Governor did not perform his duty by procrastinating on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test exemption bill.

The Governor had sat on the Bill for 142 days before returning it to the government. I met the governor in person on the NEET exam issue," said Stalin while addressing the all-party meeting at the secretariat in Chennai.

"The bill was adopted in the assembly keeping in mind the demand of 8 crore people seeking exemption from NEET exam. It was passed unanimously in the state assembly. I ask you all - representatives of political parties - to give your valuable feedback in today's all-party meeting. The Governor did not bother to send it to the President for his consent," the CM added.

Stalin said that he had also appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the same issue via a video conferencing meeting when he inaugurated 11 new medical colleges.

The BJP boycotted the all-party meeting held earlier in the day. The saffron party's ally AIADMK also did not participate.

However, AIADMK has released a statement saying that it is against the NEET and will support the Tamil Nadu government on the exemption of the exam in the state.

இதனைத் தொடர்ந்து அங்கு சென்ற முன்னாள் அமைச்சர் ஜெயக்குமார் தலைமையிலான அதிமுகவினர் திமுக தொண்டர் ஒருவரைப் பிடித்து அரை நிர்வாணப்படுத்தி தாக்கினர். இத்தனையும் ஜெயக்குமார் முன்னிலையில் நடைபெற்றது. இது தொடர்பான வீடியோ சமூக வலைதளங்களில் பரவியது

இதனடிப்படையில் ஜெயக்குமார் மீது 8 பிரிவுகளில் வழக்கு பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டது. இதையடுத்து கடந்த 21-ந் தேதி ஜெயக்குமார் கைது செய்யப்பட்டு சிறையிலடைக்கப்பட்டார். ஜெயக்குமார் கைது செய்யப்பட்டதைக் கண்டித்து அவரது மகன் உள்ளிட்ட ஆதரவாளர்கள் சாலை மறியல் போராட்டம் நடத்தினர். அதிமுக தலைவர்கள் கடும் கண்டனம் தெரிவித்தனர்.

இந்த வழக்கில் தமக்கு ஜாமீன் கோரி ஜெயக்குமார் தாக்கல் செய்த மனுவை சென்னை ஜார்ஜ் டவுன் நீதிமன்றம் ஏற்கனவே டிஸ்மிஸ் செய்துவிட்டது. இந்நிலையில் நகர்ப்புற உள்ளாட்சித் தேர்தலின் போது சாலை மறியலில் ஈடுபட்டதாக ஜெயக்குமார் மீது வழக்கு ஒன்று தொடரப்பட்டது. இந்த வழக்கில் ஜெயக்குமாருக்கு ஜாமீன் வழங்கி உத்தரவிட்டது சென்னை ஜார்ஜ் டவுன் நீதிமன்றம்.

நாகர்கோவில் : கன்னியாகுமரி மாவட்டத்தில் 200 வார்டுகளை கைப்பற்றி பா.ஜ., தனது இடத்தை உறுதி செய்துள்ளது. ஆனால் அ.தி.மு.க., பரிதாப நிலைக்கு தள்ளப்பட்டு உள்ளது.

நாகர்கோவில் மாநகராட்சியில் 30 வார்டுகளில் வெற்றி பெற வேண்டும் என்ற வியூகத்துடன் களமிறங்கிய பா.ஜ.,வுக்கு 11 இடங்கள் மட்டுமே கிடைத்தன.நகராட்சிகளான குளச்சலில் நான்கு, கொல்லங்கோடு, குழித்துறையில் தலா ஐந்து, பத்மனாபபுரத்தில் ஏழு கவுன்சிலர்கள் வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளனர். பத்மனாபபுரத்தில் சுயேச்சையாக வெற்றி பெற்றவர்களை வளைத்து தலைவர் பதவியை பிடிக்க பா.ஜ.,வும், தி.மு.க.,வும் முயற்சிக்கின்றன.

51 பேரூராட்சிகளில் ஆறு பேரூராட்சிகளில் தலைவர் பதவியை பிடிக்கும் நிலை பா.ஜ.,வுக்கு உள்ளது. இரணியல் பேரூராட்சியில் அக்கட்சி அறுதி பெரும்பான்மை பெற்றது. பேரூராட்சிகளில் 168 வார்டுகள், நகராட்சி, மாநகராட்சியில் 32 வார்டுகள் என 200 வார்டுகளில் பா.ஜ., வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளது.

ஆனால் அ.தி.மு.க.,வின் நிலை பரிதாபமாகியுள்ளது. ஊரக உள்ளாட்சி தேர்தலில் மாவட்ட பஞ்சாயத்து தலைவர், ஊராட்சி ஒன்றிய தலைவர் பதவிகளை கைப்பற்றிய அக்கட்சி இந்த முறை இரண்டு பேரூராட்சிகளில் தலைவர் பதவியை பிடிக்க சுயேச்சைகளின் ஆதரவை நாடி வருகிறது. பேரூராட்சிகளில் 64 வார்டுகளில் மட்டுமே அக்கட்சி வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளது. நாகர்கோவில் மாநகராட்சியில் அ.தி.மு.க.,வின் 24, பா.ஜ.,வின் 23 வேட்பாளர்கள் டெபாசிட்டை இழந்துள்ளனர்.
