A Queensland couple is raising money to find a cure after their two-year-old daughter was diagnosed with a rare genetic disease.

Tallulah Moon Whitrod has spastic paraplegia type 56 and has lost the ability to talk and crawl.

"With this support that we call Tallulah's army, we've managed to raise now more than $205,000." - Golden Whitrod, Tallulah's mother.
