When it comes to adopting new technologies, for many, like myself, that has been a challenge when keeping up with the MIGS explosion that constantly keeps expanding.

I would like to share with you a new video in the series called Podium Presentation on Glaucoma REWIND. These are talks presented at national meetings that you possibly missed or if you saw, you wouldn't mind being able to rewind and watch it again. 

This video presentation came from the National Glaucoma Society Annual National Glaucoma Symposium East Meeting, a virtual presentation, entitled Choices, Choices, & more Choices: How do you choose? Advances in the Surgical Treatment of Glaucoma.

When I put this talk together I aimed to cover what was available by talking about the mechanisms of action of each MIGS procedure, evaluate the efficacy of each device, give insight on which one works best on which patients, and case examples with surgical video of how I go about patient selection. There are also pearls on post-op management to be prepared when something could go wrong and how to manage it.
 
It’s about an hour lecture, but if you are new to MIGS it should give you a strong foundation to work with.
