PMGR: The PAHO’s Role in Public Health Emergencies; Designing Infodemic Systems Surveillance Systems

The June 2022 Preventive Medicine Grand Rounds features two presentations by Preventive Medicine Fellow and Resident Dr. Esther Kukielka and Dr. Howard Chiou. Dr. Kukielka will share the public health response by the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) in the context of International Health Regulations (IHR). Dr. Chiou will discuss infodemic and its importance to public health actions and how surveillance systems can be used to recognize and address infodemic.
