Palak Pulao is an easy yet healthy recipe which can be made at home with very few ingredients. Kids love it.

Ingredients:
Palak Leaves
Ghee - 2 TSP
Oil - 2 TSP
Whole Spices - Cinnamon, Cardamon, Cloves, Pepper Corns, Star Anise, Cumin & Bay Leaves
Onion - 1 Nos Finely Chopped
Green Chilli - 2 Nos Slited
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 TSP
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 TSP
Red Chilli Powder - 1 TSP
Coriander Powder - 1 TSP
Cumin Powder - 1 TSP
Garam Masala Powder - 1 TSP
Salt - 1 TSP
Soaked Basmati Rice - 1 CUP
Water - 2 CUPS

Method:

Chop the palak leaves and keep it aside
Heat a pressure cooker with some ghee and oil
Add the whole spices and roast them
Add onions, green chilies and saute them
Add ginger garlic paste and saute along
Add all the spice powders and mix well
Add the palak leaves and saute
Add salt and mix well
Add soaked basmati rice and water and mix well
Pressure cook it for 2 whistles on medium flame
Let it rest for about 15 mins before opening
Serve the Palak Pulao hot with some raita by the side
