One in five South Africans live with more than one disease - Study

A new study by the University of the Western Cape’s School of Public Health - reveals one in five South Africans over the age of 15 live with more than one disease. It also found that women are more prone to multimorbidity - which is the presentation of two or more chronic conditions. PhD candidate Rifqah Roomaney conducted the study. #DStv403
