The Vitamin A from carotenoids (1/3rd RDA) with iron (1/5th RDA) and folic acid(1/10th RDA) ,calcium(1/20th RDA) magnesium(1/5th RDA ) Make this quick smoothie the delight for anyone looking for a quick energy boost!

The blend of Almonds with Figs and black raisins makes this smoothie a super memory food as also bone strengthner!
The use of Oatbran gives us Glycan a soluble fibre and insoluble fibres like Celllulose, lignin and all of these help in weight management & helps to maintain normal cholesterol levels. Soaking of oat bran helps to decrease upto 60% of phytic acid.

The Yellaki / Elaichi banana used here is a rich source of Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine),fibre and potassium so good for bone health and stabilising blood pressure too. The fibre in banana helps soothe the gut and eases constipation too.

Dry Figs used are rich in fibrehelps to improve digestion, decrease constipation and keep blood sugar levels stable.

Serves: 1

Ingredients:
Oat bran: 30 g (3Tbsp)
Almonds: 10 g (10 pieces)
Figs dry: 25 g (2 big)
Black Raisins dry: 10g (1 Tbsp)
Small Banana peeled: 80 g (2 pieces)

Cinnamon pd 1/4 - 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Soak all the ingredients for 2 hrs or overnight
2. For oat bran soak 30g in 150 ml water
3. Peel the soaked almonds.
4. Wash and strain the soaked oats
5. Blend all ingredients in a blender jar
6. Serve in a glass jar
