Monkeypox designated tier-two infectious disease legally in S. Korea

Monkeypox which is now spreading to more and more non-endemic countries has been legally designated as a tier-two infectious disease here in South Korea.
According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Agency on Wednesday,... the amendment was implemented as of midnight Wednesday... meaning anyone infected with the disease must be reported and put into quarantine.
Currently, 22 types of diseases are in the tier-two category, including COVID-19 and tuberculosis.
