Mexican Picadillo Healthy Recipe

Picadillo is a delicious Mexican ground beef recipe cooked with pico de gallo and usually potatoes. For this recipe I give you the option for diabetes or low carb diets, keto, using chayote instead of papas or potatoes. Peccadillo recipes can be different from one state to other in Mexico. In this recipe, I used chile poblano but you can substitute for California, serrano, or jalapeno. This is a great is way to add vegetables to your meal.
INGREDIENTS
1 teaspoon of minced garlic
3 poblano pepper, roasted, skinless, and seedless
2 cups of chopped tomatoes
1 1/2 cups of chopped onion
1 tablespoon oregano
1 teaspoon cumin
3/4 teaspoon of salt
1.3 pounds or 600 grams of ground beef.
