Board Chair David W. Dodick, MD, FAAN hosted an insightful discussion with Lisa Shulman, MD, Director of the University of Maryland Movement Disorders Center and Ellen Mowry, MD, Director of Multiple Sclerosis Experimental Therapeutics Program at Johns Hopkins Medicine about Parkinson’s disease and multiple sclerosis. They discussed how the latest research is helping to develop new approaches for treatment for both brain diseases.

Audience members also had a chance to ask questions related to lifestyle modifications, the importance of sleep health for brain disease, and recommended intake of dietary supplements.
