Lower Heart Disease Risk With One Hour Of TV

A team from the Medical Research Council (MRC) Epidemiology Unit and the Universities of Cambridge and Hong Kong have found that too much TV increases the risk of heart disease — regardless of an individual’s genetic makeup.

Researchers say One of the major risk factors for coronary heart disease is a sedentary (or “couch potato”) lifestyle — sitting for long periods of time rather than being physically active.
