Janet Crane: Clinical biomarkers and assessment of bone disease and response in CLA

Published
On Day 2 of the LGDA/LMI International Conference on Complex Lymphatic Anomalies, Johns Hopkins University's Janet Crane, M.D., presents on the clinical biomarkers and assessment of bone disease and response in complex lymphatic anomalies

About Our Presenter:
Janet Crane, MD is a pediatric endocrinologist with expertise in basic bone biology. She is the Director of the Pediatric Bone Health Clinic at The Johns Hopkins University and conducts research studying endocrine factors that affect the vasculature of the bone. While the bulk of her research focuses of how steroids impair bone health by reducing blood supply within the bone, she has been drawn into the LGDA community by aiding in the care of these children and realizing the opposite phenotype is equally devastating. Her superpower, that is not at all a secret, is finding positive aspects in even the most dire situations.
