Prof. Mohsen Naghavi and Prof. Reza Malekzadeh share key insights from the most comprehensive analysis of health in all provinces of Iran. Major findings included progress in eliminating infectious diseases and increase in life expectancy at birth, but a rise in non-communicable diseases like heart disease and diabetes.
