Weight loss has been an extremely sensitive, vulnerable topic for me, as I know it is for many women. We all want to look and feel our best, and when you gain weight, it can really affect your self-esteem and confidence. I knew I wanted to lose weight in a healthy way without starving myself or relying on quick-fix fad diets that would be impossible to sustain. Using the Lumen has empowered me with the tools I need to educate myself about my body's needs. I have a better understanding of what triggers my body to go into carb burning vs fat burning mode and I am working to improve my metabolic flexibility!
