Homemade Healthy Meatloaf and Roasted Vegetables #healthycooking #food #cooking

Published
Hi Everyone. I’m Chantal and today I’m going to be showing you how to make a healthy meatloaf with roasted vegetables as your side.
Instead of using beef I will be using ground turkey and that will be a healthy alternative. But, I’ll be adding some seasonings and bbq to make it like we are eating ground beef meatloaf. For the vegetables I decided to use potatoes, carrots and 2 different colored beets
I used 2 pounds of ground turkey
1 Tbs Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp steak seasoning
1 tsp pepper
1/4 cup of your favorite bbq sauce
Of course you can add finally chopped onions and freshly grated garlic.
Combine all the ingredients together and then mold in a loaf shape on a nonstick pan
Bake at 375 for Approximately 1 hour. Spread bbq sauce on the top and place back in oven for 30 minutes.
For the vegetables I peeled and cut the carrots approximately 2 inches.
The potatoes I bought were small enough so I didn’t need to peel them and cut them. I added both carrots and potatoes on the same tray and add olive oil, salt and pepper. Baked in the same with a meatloaf at 375 for approximately 45 minutes.
The beats I washed and then quartered and place them on their own tray. Drizzled olive oil, salt and pepper. In the oven as well at 375 for approximately 45 minute.
