Ingredients for Tomato Soup:
Tomatoes 1/2 kg
Butter 1 tbsp
Garlic (chopped) 1 tbsp
Bay leaf 1
Onion (chopped) 1 cup
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
White pepper powder 1 tsp
Chicken stock / Water 2 cups
Cream 3-4 tbsp
Sugar 1 tbsp
Tomato paste 2 tbsp
Ketchup 2 tbsp
Chili sauce 1 tbsp
Soy sauce 1 tsp
Green onion (chopped) as required

Ingredients for Bread Croutons:
Bread slices 2-3
Oil 1-2 tbsp
Salt 1/4 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1/4 tsp / to taste

Directions for Tomato Soup Preparation:
1. In a pot heat butter and add bay leaf, garlic and saute for a minute.
2. Now add onion and cook until translucent.
3. Add tomatoes and cook for 6-7 minutes or until they get soft. Turn off flame and let it cool at room temperature.
4. Add the prepared mixture in blender and blend into smooth puree.
5. Pour the puree in pot and add soy sauce, chili sauce, salt, black pepper, white pepper, chicken stock, tomato paste, sugar, ketchup and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
6. Now add cream and cook for 4-5 minutes or until desired consistency has reached.
7. Your tomato soup is ready. set aside.
Directions for Bread Croutons Preparation:
8. Take the bread slices and cut into small cubes. Sprinkle salt and black pepper on it.
9. Bake the bread cubes at 180°C for 3-4 minutes or until light golden in color.
10. Your bread croutons are ready, serve with Tomato Soup.
Preparation time: 10-15 mins
Cooking time: 30-40 mins
