Health Ministry PS calls for emphasis on disease prevention

The Ministry of Health has tasked health workers to offer a holistic approach to patients using the available resources. According to the ministry's Permanent Secretary, Dr. Diana Atwine, patients should be equipped with sufficient knowledge about disease prevention, away from treatment. She made the call during an inspection of a laboratory and diagnostics ward round at Kayunga Regional Referral Hospital today.
