From Genetic Risk Variant Discovery to Functional Validation in Autoimmune Diseases

Published
GWAS studies have identified a large number of single nucleotide polymorphisms that are associated with complex disease risk. The vast majority of these risk variants map to non-coding regions of the genome, and their functional interpretation remains challenging.

During this webinar, Dr. Orozco will share how functional genomics can help us understand what biological mechanisms are altered by disease associated-variants, with a focus on how 3D chromatin structure can be used to identify disease-causing genes in autoimmune disorders.
