Foot and mouth disease would 'absolutely decimate' Australia's livestock industry

Nationals MP Barnaby Joyce says Australia should worry about foot and mouth disease being detected in the country.

Mr Joyce told Sky News host Andrew Bolt foot and mouth disease would “decimate” Australia’s livestock industry.

It’s been confirmed by Agriculture Minister Murray Watt on Wednesday the disease had been detected in meat products coming into Australia.
