Foot and mouth disease will ‘destroy’ Australian beef industry

One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says foot and mouth disease will “destroy” the whole beef industry in Australia.

“We rely on the beef industry for our exports ... for here in the country,” she told Sky News host Chris Smith.

"Close the borders."

Agriculture Minister Murray Watt recently confirmed foot and mouth disease has been detected in meat products being brought into Australia from both Indonesia and China.
