Sometimes we experience our families as frustrating, depressing, competitive, and uncaring which can lead to a lot of challenges emotionally, psychologically, and even relationally down the road in our lives.

But there are those individuals who are clearly struggling with family trauma and may even be showing signs of PTSD. The consequences of having an unhealthy, toxic, or dysfunctional family is many years of personal challenges -- and a times diagnostic symptoms of anxiety, depression, and chronic or acute stress.
