Covid vaccine is now required for immigration medical exams

It’s October 1st. The covid vaccine is now mandatory for immigrants doing the medical exam.

There are certain exemptions:
- The doctor may provide an exemption if the vaccine is not readily available in your area; or
- If the doctor deems it inappropriate for you to get it because of a medical condition or if you are ineligible to receive it (such as for kids under 12).

Also, there are religious exemptions if your religion does not permit vaccinations.

Those who completed the medical before October 1st will not be required to get the vaccine.

But if you can, get the vaccine. It is saving lives.
