Charles Blow Discusses COVID-19 News With Infectious Disease Physician

The World Health Organization announced a new record today they described as a “tsunami” when it comes to the pandemic.

New global COVID-19 cases have spiked 71% in the WHO’s latest weekly count, hitting a record 9.5 million cases now.

The Washington Post is reporting that the White House and United States Postal Office are almost ready to start shipping 500 million at-home testing kits, maybe as soon as this week.

Cases of “flurona,” a combination of the flu and the coronavirus, have now been detected in Florida, California, Kansas and Texas.
