Cataracts in your eyes are when a clear structure within the eye (called the crystalline lens) begins to change and become opaque. The symptoms of cataracts often include blurred vision and glare.

Glaucoma is where the optic nerve, which connects the eye to the brain, slowly dies over time. This is often associated with an elevated pressure within the eye.
