Brazilian football icon Pele responding well to treatment in hospital

Brazilian footballing icon Pele remains in stable condition after being moved to the palliative care unit in Sao Paulo's Albert Einstein Hospital.

The 82-year-old has been battling colon cancer since 2021.

Hospital reports say he has responded well to treatment for a respiratory infection and his condition has not worsened in the past 24 hours.
