Black Docs Respond To Claims Made By Colleague About COVID Vax, Explain How To Protect Yourself

Hospitals and medical facilities are struggling to handle the influx of patients battling Covid. Today, there are over 68 million reported cases and more than 877 thousand deaths.

Despite vaccines being free, effective, and authorized by the FDA and CDC, only 63 percent of the eligible population is fully vaccinated.

On Tuesday, we had a doctor talk about Covid and the vaccine. Some of his comments seemed to be contradictory to the guidance supplied by the CDC and by the Black doctors who have appeared on #RolandMartinUnfiltered.

After an uproar over Tuesday's segment, a number of African American doctors reached out wanting to refute the claims that were made.

On Wednesday, Roland spoke with Dr. Kristy McDowell, a Microbiologist and CEO and Founder of Baby Scientist, Inc, Vascular Cardiologist Dr. Bernard Ashby from Miami, and Infectious Disease Specialist, Dr. Alexea M Gaffney about COVID and the vaccines.
