Bio-engineering a mini-brain will help treat neurological disease | Yun Yeohueng | TEDxGreensboro

Published
The use of stem cell technology to emulate various human organ diseases can be used for the development of medicines more effectively than traditional animal models. Dr. Yeoheung Yun is a bioengineer at NC A&T State University.
His interest is in creating lab-based brain tissue devices, which
will help researchers learn how different brain diseases work
and how different medicines and toxins affect the brain. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
