Day 134 & 135 were more big climbing days, and luckily for us we had these nice climbs to keep us warm as the temperatures averaged in the high 20's and low 30's. We passed through Erwin, TN on our way to No Business Knob, the easier of the climbs. And then onto Big Bald which had an elevation of over 5,500 ft! A good test for us as we starting making our way to the Smokey Mountains. A special thank you to Sheila our trail angel for having us stay at your cabin, and also to our new trail angels Paul & Sue for allowing us to stay with you and slack packing Mom. We appreciate the support!

Follow along with us as we southbound thru-hike all 2,194 miles of the Appalachian Trail from Maine to Georgia to raise money for Parkinson's Disease Research!!
