Adult Acne is commonly because of hormonal or either they are on some kind of hormone therapies or on some contraceptive pills or they use some cosmetics or they use some facial or some kind of beauty parlor treatments or some cosmetics that does not suit them or done waxing. There are various causes for Adult Acne and whatever is the cause identify the cause. It can sometimes be medicine induced drug allergies or drug induced medicine used also can cause. So I have seen most of the acne post covid, probably post covid the steroids were given or antiviral were given or post drug induced probably lot of them had can be which persisted for a long time were also resistant. So we have to do lot of chemical treatment along with oral and topical application. Identify the reasons if it is hormonal, correct the hormones. If it is because of the oral contraceptive pills them suggest them and give them guidance as what to use and what to to use. Same is the case with parlors or cosmetics so guide them. Same is with the case of topical applications first, some antibiotic ointment, face washes if it doesn’t work, then there are medicines to reduce the oil secretion of the glands and if it still doesn’t work, then go for chemical peels and that can reduce the acne.
