ACT overhauls COVID-19 plan for exposure types and hospital admissions | ABC News

The ACT has recorded 810 new cases of COVID-19, as demand for testing remains at unprecedented levels and health authorities announce a number of changes to how they will manage the ongoing pandemic.

From now on, she said ACT Health would not be identifying people as close or casual contacts, but would instead classify those exposed to the virus according to risk-level categories.

Due to the increase in COVID-19 transmission, ACT Health Minister Rachel Stephen-Smith said authorities had also decided to change the way they managed hospital admissions.
