6 Easy Healthy Halwa Recipes
1. Almond Carrot Halwa Recipe
Recipe :
Ingredients :
Grated Carrot - 4 cups
Almond powder - 1/2 cup
Pitted Dates paste- 1/2 cup
Jaggery Powder - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Ghee - 3 Tablespoons
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Saffron ( optional )
Almond flakes ( or ) your choice of nuts - few
PROCEDURE :
On Saute,
Add ghee and carrot saute for 4 minutes ( to remove rawness of the carrots )
Now add milk and cancel saute.
Close the lid and set vent into sealing position
Set time : Manual ( or) pressure cook - 2 minutes
Release : Natural Release
Open the lid and onSaute,
add almond powder ( or ) flour (or) almond paste , dates paste,jaggery powder , cardamom powder, saffron and mix well for 4 minutes, or till the mixture is thicken
Turn off the saute mode and add almond flakes , Serve chili or hot

2. Rava Kesari Sweet in Instant Pot
Ingredients :
1. Rava ( sooji ) - 1 cup ( 160 ml )
2. Sugar - 1 & 1/4 cups ( 200 ml )
3. Water - 2 & 1/2 cups
4. Ghee - 4 Tablespoons
5. Saffron Water - 2 Tablespoons ( Add warm water in little saffron
6. Cashews - 1/4 cup
7. Raisins - 1/4 cup
PROCEDURE :
1. On Saute ,
2. Add Ghee - 2 Tablespoons
3. Add Cashews & Raisins and saute till raisins pop up and cashews into light golden brown color
4. Take out and keep aside ( or can leave it in the pot )
5. Add Sooji (or) Rava into the pot , saute just a minute ( keep stirring)6. Add Sugar and mix Well
7. Add Water , Saffron water, little ghee and mix well.
8.Cancel Saute
9. Close the lid and the vent to sealing
10. Set Time :
Manual - 1 minute
Pressure - HIGH
Release - Quick Release
Note : Pressure may not build up ( the valve may not raise up )
when done, open the lid and mix well
11. Add Cashews and raisins and mix.

3. Badam Halwa
Ingredients :
1. Sugar - 1/4 cup
2. Milk - 1/4 cup
3. Almond Flour - 1 cup
4. Saffron - pinch
5. Ghee - 3 teaspoons
Procedure :
1. In a pan , add sugar, milk, saffron , almond flour and mix well
2. Add Ghee and stir well
3. Stir until halwa begins to leave the sides of the pan
4. Add one more teaspoon ghee and garnish with nuts

4. How to make Carrot Halwa in (Instant pot) || Gajar ka Halwa || Quick & Easy
Ingredients : 
Carrots (grated ) - 2 cups ( used 240 ml cup)
Milk - 3/4 cup
Sugar - 2 Tablespoons
Condensed Milk - 3 Tablespoons (or) ( add 3 tbs sugar instead of condensed milk )
Saffron Milk - (few saffron strands mixed with 1 tablespoon milk)
Cardamom powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
Ghee - 3 Tablespoons
Cashews - few
Raisins - few
PROCEDURE : 
On Saute ,
Add : Ghee , Cashews , Raisins
Saute a minute or till cashews turn golden & raisins puff up
Take  Cashews and Raisins out and keep aside
In same pan ,
Add : Grated Carrots - Saute for 4- 5 minutes
Add : Milk. Mix Well
 Cancel Saute
Close the lid & Seal  vent 
Manual - 2 minutes
Pressure - HIGH
Natural Release
 When pressure is released naturally, then Open the lid and
Add :Sugar , Condensed Milk , Saffron Milk , Cardamom powder
Keep Stirring till carrot Halwa is thicken

5. Badam Halwa Recipe with Jaggery | Almond Halwa in just 5 minutes | Almond flour
Recipe :
Almond powder/Flour - 1 cup
Jaggery - 3/4 cup
Water - 1/4 cup
Cardamom powder - 1/4 tsp
Procedure :
1. Add Jaggery , water and melt ,
(when jaggery is melted cool down and sieve syrup if needed)
2. When jaggery is completely dissolved add almond powder and mix well,
3. Keep cooking on medium flame until thicken add ghee and cardamom powder.
( to thicken this it takes only 2 minutes )
4. Add almond nuts .
Serve warm..

6. Beetroot Halwa in Instant Pot
Ingredients :
Beetroot (grated) - 2 cups ( used 240 ml cup)
Milk - 1 cup
Sugar - 2 Tablespoons
Condensed milk - 3 Tablespoons
Cashews - few
Raisins - few
Cardamom powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
* On Saute :
Add : Ghee - 2 Tablespoons , cashews & Raisins
Fry till cashews turn golden & Raisins puff up ( or fry a minute)
Take out and keep aside.
Add : Grated Beetroot
Saute 5 - 6 minutes or till rawness is reduced
add milk and milk well.
* Cancel Saute
* Close the lid and seal
* Manual (or) Pressure cook - 5 minutes
Pressure - HIGH
Release - Natural Release ( or ) Wait for 5 minutes the Quick Release.
Open and again, On Saute ,
Add : Sugar , Condensed milk , Cardamom powder
Keep stirring till halwa is thicken ,
When thicken ,
* Cancel Saute
Add Fried Cashews & RaisinS , Chopped Almonds & Pistachios
