Tiffin recipes are away on trend be it anytime of the year. Specially mothers, at least for me, hunt for the answer for “ what to keep for my kids tiffin tomorrow to school ? “ I always look for healthy recipes, but try to make it the way my kids love and enjoy eating. Or else there’s is no point in keeping food that they won’t eat and goes straight into the tiffin. Moreover I love to hear the feedback and they do give it as soon as they are back from school. So here are few recipes that my kids enjoyed eating at school.

Egg Sandwich :

Oil - 3 tbsp
Onion - 1 large
Green chillies - 3
Carrot - 1 large
Salt
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1/2 - 3/4
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves - a handful chopped
Eggs - 4
Mozarella cheese - 1/2 - 3/4 cup
Bread slices - 3 at a time

Veg burger / Aloo Tikki
Potato - 1 large
Onion - 1 small
Green chillies - 1
Curry leaves - few
Ginger - 1 tbsp chopped
Coriander leaves - 3 tbsp chopped
Chapatti - 5 medium size
Salt
Cumin powder - 1/2 - 3/4 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder- 1/4 tsp
Oil - for frying

Savoury pancake / Pola
Onion - 1 small
Carrot - 1 small
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Ginger chopped - 1/2 tbsp
Garlic chopped - 1 tbsp
Green chillies -2
Chicken sausage - 2 chips chopped
Salt
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder - 1tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Broccoli - 1.5 cup chopped
Coriander leaves - a handful chopped

Batter :
All purpose flour - 1 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Egg - 3 OR Cornflour - 1/2 cup
Salt
Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 3 tbsp

Sweet Paratha

Dough :
Whole wheat flour - 1 cup
Salt
Oil - 1.5 tbsp
Warm water - 1/2 - 3/4 cup

Apple Peanut butter filling:
Apple - 1
Peanut butter - 1 tbsp
Cheese - 1 tbsp
Brown sugar / powdered jaggery - 1.5 tbsp
Salt - a pinch
