"බෙහෙත් වෙනුවට කෑම"| Umandawa | Healthy Butterfly Pea Recipe | Wild Cookbook

Published
Umandawa Global Buddhist Village, is a magical place. I got a chance to visit there last week. There i could see a vast variety of healthy and traditional food, especially organic.
Butterfly pea was used in many recipes in Umandawa.
Butterfly pea aka nil katarolu, blue pea, aparajitha and Asian pigeonwings has many health benefits Containing many antioxidants. Which is good for detoxifying the body, pacifying the mind, enriching skin texture, improving hair growth, and many other health benefits.
Also it’s one of thee best natural food colorings.
Inspired from my visit to Umandawa, i made a healthy balanced breakfast meal using butterfly pea flowers & rice flakes. This is very easy to make, full of flavor, and packed with nutrients. Hope y’all will try this recipe too.
