Just a great afternoon and evening spent there! Beautiful town right on Lake Como. Unlike other towns on the lake, Menaggio is flat - which is important to older travelers who have trouble going up and down the steep inclines many of other towns on the lake have. Bellagio and Varenna are a short 10 minute boat ride away. Plenty of free parking for those who arrive by car.

The location and the view was nice The pool and outdoor area was great The 3rd floor hallway carpet is filthy and stained. We sprayed it every time we entered it. Menaggio is a super small village with one grocery store, one fuel station and lots of Gelato and coffee businesses plus a few decent Italian restaurants and that is it. The architecture of buildings around the city is fabulous and the lake is gorgeous, parking is none existent so those with rental cars will have a parking challenge.

Menaggio is perfectly situated next to Lake Como. With the local ferry you can access all the other cool towns around the lake. The lovely Piazza Garibaldi is alive with places to eat and have lazy aperitivos. A spacious studio apartment overlooking the main piazza with views to Lake Como.

It is very stylish and a great place to stay for five nights. Menaggio is well placed for exploring the central part of Lake Como. It was a comfortable meter walk to the ferry. Despite being in the heart of the town, the nights were very quiet. Close to good places to eat.

It was lovely to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by. Would definitely recommend to friends. We have very nice stay in this villa. The house was spacey enough for our 3 families 12 people. It was close to the center of the town, but in quiet neighborhood. Perfect place if you want to see the attractions of Lake Como. We also like small garden with swimming pool and jacuzzi. Our host was very responsive and ready to help us at any time. We spent a wonderful and unforgettable time at this apartment on the end of September.

From Menaggio is easy to travel to Bellagio and Varenna by ferry or by car to Switzerland. The town centre is an easy 5minute walk away.
